The advanced software “loading station” has great advantages. Several computers can be loaded at the same time, permitting enormous time savings in the production cycle of computers. The operating systems are up to date and all relevant updates are installed straightaway. A state-of-the-art final inspection using a self-developed installation and test routine is carried out in addition.

For this reason, compliance with the ESD (Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive Devices) guidelines is ensured during production, since electrostatic discharge may cause damage to the components as early as during the production.

In addition to the standard installation of an operating system and the initial start-up including functional testing, stress tests or 24-h burn-in tests in the burn-in oven are conducted for the purpose of quality assurance. The inspection according to the principle of dual control substantially reduces the fault rate.
