With 10G into the network
Industrial networks have high requirements on data throughput. Speed plays a decisive role in communication at machine level.
For the equipment of the network nodes with industrial switches we recommend the 3 models of the IGS-5225-8P series. With up to 10G uplink, the data is transferred to the backbone at maximum speed. Depending on the application, the connection can be made via copper or glass fibre.
All switches of the series have 8 x RJ45 full Gigabit ports, which offer full 30 W PoE power supply. Depending on the model, there are additionally up to 4 SFP slots available. A variety of settings such as PoE scheduler, PoE power limit and PoE priority optimize the use of these managed switches. With their rugged metal housing and a wide temperature range from -40°C to 75°C, the switches of the IGS-5225-8P series are perfect for use in industrial environments.
