Building data networks securely
High-performance and reliable data networks are an important component of industrial digitalisation. Industrial Ethernet switches ensure the fast and continuous transport of all necessary data.
Especially for demanding networks with large data volumes and fast data transfer, we recommend the industrial and manageable 20-port Ethernet switch IGS-6325-16T4S. The compact switch (76x107x152 mm) provides 20 Gigabit Ethernet ports, with 16 of them designed as RJ45 and 4 as SFP ports. By using suitable SFP modules, connections can be established up to 2 km in Multi Mode or even up to 120 km in Single Mode.
The IGS-6325 is fully manageable and can so fulfil the high industrial requirements regarding data security.
For this purpose, it provides advanced IPv6/IPv4 management interfaces, extensive L2/L4 switching functions and static Layer 3 routing functions. They ensure reliable routing of data according to individual specifications. Setup is user-friendly via web and SNMP interface.
Power Fail or Link Lost events can be reported via two digital outputs. Two digital inputs detect alarm signals from external devices, e.g. "Door open" or "Air conditioner failure", and can forward these signals to the administrators via email, SYSLOG or SNMP. And last but not least, the industrial requirements for reliability and robustness are ensured by a redundant power supply, an IP30 metal housing and an operating temperature range of -40 to 75 °C.
