Embedded systems for industry, such as driverless transport systems (AGVs), require powerful and reliable hardware. You, the developer of the system, know how crucial the embedded board used is. 

Thanks to its powerful features and robust design, the IB838 3.5" embedded board is particularly suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. The board is based on the Intel® Core™ i3 N-Series (Alder Lake-N) processor and has a DDR5 SO-DIMM slot with a capacity of up to 16 GB. The different video outputs, such as DisplayPort, Type-C and LVDS, enable individual use. The integrated Intel® Gen12 graphics ensures excellent graphics performance.

A highlight of the IB838 is its connectivity. Two PCI-E 2.5G LAN ports for fast network connections, four USB 3.2 ports (including one Type-C) and two USB 2.0 ports are available. There are also two M.2 sockets (E-Key and B-Key), which allow you to easily expand and customize. 

The board is robust and designed for extreme conditions. It supports a wide voltage range from 9V to 36V and can be operated at temperatures from 0°C to 60°C. These properties make it ideal for use in harsh industrial environments. 

The IB838 shows its strengths particularly in logistics, in automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The compact design of 102 mm x 147 mm enables easy integration, even when space is tight. Support for fTPM and watchdog timers provides additional safety and reliability, which are essential for autonomous operation. The wide range of I/O options, including four serial COM ports, facilitate the connection of various sensors and control units in AGVs.
