Alder Lake Power in Pico-ITX Format

As a developer, you are certainly familiar with the challenge of developing compact and powerful embedded systems. Because more and more applications such as intelligent cameras, automats, measuring systems or mobile robots demand such compact solutions.

The industrial Pico-ITX Board LP-17A7 from Spectra offers you a perfect basis with its compact dimensions of only 100 x 72 mm. It is based on the Intel® Core i7-1265UE processor of the Alder Lake family with ten cores and a clock frequency of up to 4.7 GHz at a TPD of 15 W. You can expand the working memory up to 32 GB via a DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM slot.

For easy heat dissipation, the CPU has been placed on the back of the board. From there, the waste heat can be conducted directly to the outside via the case.

The integrated Intel® UHD graphics technology realizes a brilliant image output in 4K quality. One HDMI and one Type-C (DP alt. mode) port each are available for connecting displays. An additional LVDS port can be realized via an internal pin header.

An Intel® I219-LM with 1 Gbit/s and an Intel® I225-LM with 2.5 Gbit/s LAN port provide connectivity in the network. You implement expansions with the help of an M.2 2280 slot for NVMe SSDs with PCIe 4.0 and an M.2 2230 slot for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth modules. You also have a USB 3.2 Gen2, two USB 2.0, a SATA3, a GPIO, and a RS232/ RS422/ RS485 interface at your disposal.
