30 Years of PC Technology on one Board
With retrofit, proven standards can be combined with the latest technology. In this way, plants can be modernized and high costs for new acquisitions can be avoided.
The MS-98L9 ATX motherboard from Spectra combines PC technology from more than 30 years on one board: one ISA and five PCI and one PCIe x4 and x16 slot are lined up next to each other.
Older peripheral devices are also considered; these can be connected via a total of six COM ports. Two of the COM ports are even designed as "powered" COM ports (0V/5V/12V). And even a PS/2 interface is available.
The heart of the system is a modern Intel® Core™ i processor with up to 32 GB DDR4 memory. A VGA and HDMI connection (4K resolution) support two independent displays. And depending on the selected processor, Windows® 10, Linux and even Windows® 7 can be used as the operating system.
