On the Rails, Get Set, Go!

Box PCs are increasingly being used in trains to ensure smooth and efficient rail operations and passenger safety. They perform a variety of tasks, such as vehicle monitoring, signal processing, data acquisition and analysis as well as passenger information.

The box PCs in the Spectra PowerBox 300 series are certified for use in railroad applications in accordance with the EN 50121 standard and are particularly resistant to electromagnetic interference, shock and vibration. The wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70 °C and the wide-range voltage input of 9 to 48 VDC support use in demanding environments.

You can currently choose between the Spectra PowerBox 300 series for 6th generation Intel CPUs and the Spectra PowerBox 310 series for 8th generation Intel CPUs. The next series for Intel CPUs of the 12th generation, the Spectra PowerBox 320, will be launched in the next few weeks. With all generations you have the choice between Core i3/i5/i7 processors to adapt the CPU performance to your requirements. All CPUs are very energy-efficient and have a low TPD value of just 15 watts.

They are available with mPCIe, Multi I/O and, in the latest series, M.2 sockets, which enable extensions such as WiFi, GSM, COM, USB, LAN and Firewire. USB and LAN interfaces form the basis for communication and you will find at least two different connections for connecting monitors on every Box PC model. With this wide range of variants, you are sure to find a suitable system for your application.

All Spectra PowerBox 300/310 models are available directly from stock within a few days. We are happy to accept pre-orders for the models in the PowerBox 320 series. We will be happy to advise you on model selection and individual equipment.
